The size is approx. 12" x 16". This issue came out one day before the Constitution Day, celebrated in the Soviet Union since 5 December 1936 when it was voted into law by the VIII Congress of the Councils of the Workers' and Peasants' Deputies. That is the subject of the editorial on page 1. If George Orwell had lived three more years (he died in 1950), he would have been green with envy but proud of his prophetic vision.

Page 2 is all about the police cadre, working hard on their professional, political, social and cultural growth and improvement.

Page 3 provides vivid examples of Soviet policemen of the Moscow Region upholding the Constitution of the USSR by fighting corruption, theft of "socialist property" (Soviet euphemism for "the State owns everything"), bribery, and other economic crimes.

Page 4 is focused on criticism of those rare and far between policemen of the Moscow Region whose work performance is not up to par with the high professional, ethical, moral, cultural, and political standards required of them.

In very good to excellent condition. The paper is a little brittle and mildly age-toned, mostly along the edges, due to exposure to light. The issue was removed from its archival file with care, leaving tiny holes but no rips. Speaking of, there is a short rip to the right edge at the fold line which is mostly confined to the margin and can be repaired with clear tape, if desired. None of the wear is too intrusive to the eye or detractive.
